Clinical Nurse Coordinator - Emergency Department (ED) | Leadership Role

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator in our Emergency Department, where you'll play a pivotal leadership role in delivering exceptional patient care. Core Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate all ED unit functions during designated shifts while ensuring optimal patient care delivery
• Supervise clinical staff and delegate nursing responsibilities appropriately while maintaining accountability
• Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practices
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and modify comprehensive patient care plans
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards
• Provide advanced clinical assessment, monitoring, and intervention for emergency patients
• Develop and deliver patient/family education programs
• Maintain accurate documentation and detailed patient records

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in Tennessee or compact state
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
• Minimum 3 years RN experience (ICU or Psychiatric experience considered)
• Minimum 1 year Emergency Department nursing experience
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
• ACLS and PALS certification (required within 1 year of employment)
• CPI certification (required within 6 months of employment)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Trauma nursing experience
• Previous Charge Nurse experience
• Emergency Nursing Certification (CEN)
