Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist - Special Procedures (RCIS/RCES)

Join our award-winning cardiac care team at Regional Medical Center as a Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist, where you'll play a vital role in our state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology laboratories. Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced cardiac and peripheral angiographic procedures alongside leading interventional cardiologists
• Administer contrast media following precise age- and weight-specific protocols
• Maintain sterile environment and assist physicians during complex interventional procedures
• Monitor and record hemodynamic measurements and valve area readings
• Manage IV access and medication administration
• Document procedures in Meditech and verify images in PACS system
• Handle radioactive materials according to safety protocols

Required Qualifications:

• RCIS or RCES certification through CCI (or ability to obtain within one year)
• OR current ARRT certification as RT(R)
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
• Minimum 1 year experience in Special Procedures, Cath Lab, or EP Lab preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated expertise in cardiac care procedures
