NICU Nurse Manager - Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Position Overview:
As NICU Nurse Manager, you'll lead a dynamic team while collaborating with our multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to maintain our high standards of neonatal care. This role offers the perfect blend of clinical expertise and leadership opportunity.
Core Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Director to align department activities with facility's mission, vision, and strategic objectives
- Lead and mentor NICU nursing staff, promoting professional development and excellence in patient care
- Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Oversee clinical operations, including staff scheduling, budget management, and resource allocation
- Implement evidence-based practices and maintain current protocols in neonatal care
- Collaborate with Women's Services Units to ensure seamless patient care coordination
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Current Texas RN license or Multi-State Compact License (must obtain TX license within 60 days)
- Minimum 2 years recent NICU leadership experience as Manager or Charge Nurse
- Current AHA BLS Certification
- Strong clinical and operational leadership abilities
- Excellence in communication and interpersonal skills
