Clinical Nurse Manager - Labor & Delivery Unit (L&D)
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Clinical Nurse Manager in our Labor & Delivery Unit. In this leadership role, you will oversee patient care excellence, staff development, and operational efficiency while making a meaningful impact on maternal and infant health outcomes.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of L&D nurses while ensuring highest standards of patient care
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practices
- Manage departmental budget, resources, and staffing requirements
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care delivery
- Monitor and evaluate clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction metrics
- Drive staff education and professional development programs
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years recent acute care Labor & Delivery leadership experience
- Active Texas RN license
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current BCLS certification
- NRP certification (or obtained within 6 months)
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification (or obtained within 6 months)
- Experience with ACLS, Operating Room, PACU, and High-Risk Obstetrics
