Position Overview:

As Clinical Nurse Manager, you'll oversee daily operations of our Emergency Department, ensuring excellence in patient care while mentoring and developing your nursing team. This role combines clinical expertise with leadership responsibilities, offering a challenging and rewarding career opportunity.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate emergency department operations during assigned shifts
• Implement and maintain quality care standards and evidence-based practices
• Perform clinical assessments and monitor patient conditions with precise documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and modify care plans
• Provide mentorship and guidance to nursing staff
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards
• Facilitate patient and family education throughout the care journey
• Manage resource allocation and staff scheduling

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in Tennessee or compact state
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
• 3+ years RN experience (Emergency, ICU, or Psychiatric nursing)
• Minimum 1 year Emergency Department experience
• ACLS and PALS certification (or obtained within 1 year)
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification within 6 months
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Trauma center experience
• Previous Charge Nurse experience
• Emergency Nursing Certification (CEN)
