This dynamic float position allows you to practice in both outpatient and inpatient settings across three modern facilities in the Bath and Elmira, NY areas. We're offering an exceptional compensation package including a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000!

Position Overview

As a Senior Physical Therapist, you'll deliver comprehensive physical therapy services while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role offers variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to treat diverse patient populations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities
• Provide expert instruction in therapeutic exercises, gait training, and use of adaptive equipment
• Document patient care according to professional standards and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Mentor and guide support staff in patient care delivery
• Maintain compliance with safety protocols and quality initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Current New York State Physical Therapy license (or eligible)
• BLS certification (required within 90 days of hire)
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Physical capability to assist patients (lift 30 lbs. independently, 150 lbs. with assistance)
