Electrical Engineering Leader – MEP Practice

Phoenix, AZ (Mesa and Scottsdale flexibility available | Limited hybrid scheduling) 

Base Salary: $160,000 – $200,000 + Annual Performance Bonus (typically 20%–60%+ of base)

Your Day-to-Day

  • Lead electrical and MEP engineering project delivery across commercial, institutional, and mixed-use developments
  • Guide projects from proposal and pursuit through design and completion — managing scope, schedules, budgets, and profitability
  • Develop proposals, prepare electrical construction cost estimates, and coordinate across architectural, mechanical, and plumbing disciplines
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships while driving new business development and work-winning activities
  • Mentor and develop engineering staff while contributing to strategic growth and market expansion initiatives
  • Deliver client-facing consulting services with strong communication across technical and executive audiences

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (required)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license (strongly preferred)
  • 15–25+ years of electrical engineering experience within a consulting environment preferred
  • Strong knowledge of NEC, NESC, IEEE, and ANSI standards
  • Proven track record leading MEP electrical engineering projects from pursuit through completion
  • Demonstrated success in business development, proposal writing, and profitable project management
  • Experience with MEP building systems for commercial, institutional, or mixed-use projects preferred
  • Proven ability to lead engineering teams and mentor technical staff
  • Strong presentation and communication skills across technical and executive audiences
  • Recent consulting engineering experience strongly preferred
  • Healthcare project experience beneficial but not required
