Manager Finance

Position: Manager Finance 

Grant Thornton Abdulaal Bahrain is currently seeking qualified and motivated Manager Finance to join one of our highly reputable clients in the market. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the financial health and operations of the organization
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial models
• Monitor cash flow and manage working capital
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Analyze financial performance and identify trends or variances
• Implement and maintain financial controls and compliance with laws and standards
• Coordinate internal and external audits
• Supervise, mentor, and develop finance team members
• Evaluate expenses and recommend cost-saving initiatives
• Identify financial risks and suggest mitigation strategies
• Provide financial insights to support strategic business decisions
• Ensure adherence to accounting principles and reporting standards
• Use financial software/ERP systems to manage operations efficiently
• Communicate effectively with senior management and stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Masters or MBA preferred).
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CFA, or CMA strongly preferred.
• 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in financial management or corporate finance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
• Proven experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Arabic language skills will be a added advantage 
• Candidates must be currently based in Bahrain
