Position: Consultant - Growth Advisory

Job Overview:

As a Consultant within our Growth & Transaction Advisory team, you will play a key role in supporting clients through complex transactions by providing insightful analysis, financial modelling, and business validation. You will assist in conducting financial due diligence, preparing investment memorandums, and working on business planning strategies for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.

Key responsibilities 

  • Develop and maintain robust financial models to support strategic decision-making, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Ensure accuracy and adaptability of models to meet evolving business needs.
  • Conduct in-depth business valuations, utilizing various valuation methods to assess the worth of companies, assets, or investment opportunities.
  • Prepare comprehensive business plans, including financial projections, to support new ventures, acquisitions, or fundraising initiatives. Collaborate with stakeholders to align financial assumptions with business strategies.
  • Lead feasibility studies to evaluate the financial viability of new projects, investments, or expansions. Provide quantitative and qualitative analysis on expected returns, risks, and financial outcomes.
  • Perform thorough financial due diligence for potential investments, acquisitions, or partnerships. Analyze financial statements, assess risk factors, and ensure alignment with the companys strategic goals.
  • Create investment teasers and other marketing materials to present potential investment opportunities to prospective investors. Clearly articulate financial insights, key risks, and value propositions.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Educational Background (Either/or): Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting. MBA in Finance, CFA, ACCA, CA or similar qualification
  • Experience: 3 to 4 years of experience in transaction advisory, corporate finance, or financial consulting. Experience in M&A, business validation, financial modelling, due diligence, and investment analysis will be value adding.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis tools (Excel, PowerPoint, financial modelling software).
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation methods, and transaction structures.
