Grant Thornton Abdulaal currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Accountant to join our dynamic team in Seef, Bahrain.

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial and accounting operations of our clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations. You will work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and provide them with tailored solutions to help them achieve their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for clients, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries

- Conduct regular financial analysis and provide insights and recommendations to clients

- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations

- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes

- Prepare financial statements and reports for clients

- Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and procedures

- Communicate with clients to address any financial queries or concerns

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in accounting standards

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

- CPA or ACCA certification is preferred

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a professional services firm

- Strong knowledge of local accounting laws and regulations

- Proficient in MS Office and accounting software

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Fluency in English is required, Arabic is a plus
