Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Customer service training or quality assurance background is an advantage
- Familiarity with claims handling and documentation procedures
- Knowledge of warranty claim processes and basic legal compliance requirements
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with ERP/CRM systems for tracking claims
- Strong communication skills for handling customer inquiries
- Customer-focused mindset with patience and professionalism in addressing complaints
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Managing Warranty Claims: Processing and overseeing all warranty claims submitted by customers or dealers. This involves
verifying eligibility, evaluating the issue, and determining whether repairs, replacements, or refunds are necessary. - Policy Development: Developing and implementing warranty policies and procedures that align with company standards and
legal requirements. This includes updating policies as needed to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. - Quality Control: Collaborating with quality assurance teams to identify recurring product issues that lead to warranty claims.
Implementing strategies to reduce warranty claims through improved product design, manufacturing processes, or customer
education. - Vendor Relations: Working closely with suppliers and manufacturers to resolve warranty-related issues, negotiate terms, and
ensure compliance with agreements. This may involve regular meetings, audits, and performance evaluations. - Customer Support: Providing support to customers regarding warranty terms, coverage, and claim status. Addressing
customer inquiries and complaints related to warranties in a timely and professional manner. - Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyzing warranty claim data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
Generating reports and presenting findings to management to facilitate strategic decision-making. - Training and Education: Conducting training sessions for internal staff, dealers, and customers on warranty policies,
procedures, and best practices. Ensuring that all stakeholders understand their roles and responsibilities regarding warranties. - Legal Compliance: Staying informed about relevant laws and regulations governing warranties in different regions or
countries where products are sold. Ensuring that warranty practices are compliant with legal requirements to avoid penalties or
litigation.
