Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Automotive Degree
  • Certified NCI and NCII
  • With at least 1 year experience in Dealership/Automotive industry


Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Supervision and Leadership: Oversees the work of other technicians and mechanics in the shop. This includes assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring that work is completed efficiently and according to quality standards. 
  • Training and Development: Will be responsible for training new technicians and providing ongoing training and development opportunities for the team. This may involve conducting workshops, organizing training sessions, or facilitating online courses to keep technicians up to date with new technologies and repair techniques.
  • Workflow Management: Foremen manage the workflow within the shop to ensure that jobs are completed on time and in the order of priority. Allocates resources effectively, coordinate with parts departments, and communicate with service advisors to optimize productivity. 
  • Quality Control: Ensuring the quality of workmanship is crucial in automotive repair. Foremen inspect completed repairs, oversee diagnostic procedures, and monitor technicians' adherence to repair procedures and safety protocols. 
  • Technical Support: Foremen provide technical support to technicians when they encounter complex or challenging repairs. Offer guidance, suggest diagnostic approaches, or assist with troubleshooting difficult issues. 
  • Safety Compliance: enforces safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for technicians and customers. They ensure that safety equipment is used properly and that technicians follow safety procedures while performing repairs. 
  • Documentation and Reporting: Foremen maintain accurate records of repairs, including parts used, labor hours, and diagnostic findings. They may also prepare reports on shop productivity, performance metrics, and customer satisfaction.
  • Problem Solving: Foremen troubleshoot operational issues within the shop, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity
