Qualifications:
- Graduate of any automotive course
- With NC1 and NC2 certification
- With at least 3 years of experience in the same field
- Knowledgeable in car parts and flexible
- Must know how to drive an automatic and manual transmission, with a valid professional driver's license
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Vehicle Inspections: Conducting thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any issues or potential problems. This includes examining engines, transmissions, brake systems, steering mechanisms, and other components to ensure proper functioning and safety.
2. Diagnosis and Troubleshooting: Using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems in vehicles. This involves interpreting diagnostic codes, performing tests, and pinpointing the root cause of issues.
3. Repair and Maintenance: Performing repairs and maintenance tasks based on diagnostic findings. This includes replacing worn or defective parts, performing oil changes, lubricating components, and conducting tune-ups to keep vehicles running efficiently.
4. Electrical System Repair: Repairing and diagnosing electrical systems within vehicles, including wiring, circuits, batteries, and electronic components. This may involve using wiring diagrams and diagnostic equipment to trace and resolve electrical issues.
5. Brake and Suspension Systems: Inspecting, repairing, and adjusting brake and suspension systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. This includes replacing brake pads, rotors, shocks, struts, and other related components.
6. Engine Performance: Tuning and adjusting engines for maximum efficiency and performance. This may involve checking fuel systems, ignition timing, and emissions control systems to maintain compliance with environmental regulations.
7. Use of Tools and Equipment: Utilizing a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as diagnostic scanners, lifts, and alignment machines. Ensuring tools are properly maintained and used safely.
8. Documentation: Documenting all repairs, diagnostics, parts used, and labor performed accurately and comprehensively. This documentation may include computerized records or handwritten logs depending on the workplace.
