Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct Inspections: Perform detailed inspections of vehicles, including exterior body, interior condition, engine, transmission, brakes , tires and all safety features.  
• Document Finding: Record all findings and issues discovered during inspections using checklists and inspections forms. Ensure that all necessary information is accurately captured for review.  
• Assess Vehicle Condition: Evaluate the overall condition of vehicles, nothing any required maintenance or repairs, cosmetics imperfections, and safety compliance. 
• Collaborate with Technicians: Work alongside automotive technicians to communicate inspection results and facilitate repairs or maintenance as required. 
• Test Drive Vehicles: Conduct test drives to assess engine performance, braking systems, and handling characteristics to ensure the vehicle operates as expected. 
• Customer Interaction: Occasionally communicate findings to customers, providing explanations regarding the vehicle's condition and suggested maintenance or repairs if necessary.  
• Preventative Maintenance Knowledge: Stay informed about preventative maintenance practices and common issues affecting different makes and models to enhance inspection efficacy. 
• Compliance with Protocols: Follow all company policies and procedures for vehicle inspection and safety to maintain a secure working environment.
• Report Preparation: Prepare and submit periodic reports detailing inspection results, common issues found, and any trends observed in vehicle performance. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Automotive Certificate or related training is prepared. 
  
• Experience: Previous experience in vehicle inspection, maintenance or automotive sales is a plus. 
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, good analytical abilities, customer service skills, and familiarity with automotive terminology and technologies. 
• Licensing: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
