GPC Philippines Corporation is currently seeking an AP Manager. This position will work from 12:00 am to 9:00 AM PHT and applies only to Philippine-based legal residents and citizens.

Work time will shift to better hours over time.

The Accounts Payable (AP) Manager, Accounting, is responsible for leading and optimizing the performance of the Global Shared Services Accounts Payable team across multiple geographies. This role oversees all day-to-day AP operations, including invoice processing, vendor payments, statement reconciliation, and audit compliance, while ensuring adherence to financial controls and company policies. The AP Manager will drive continuous improvement through automation tools like SAP Serrala and ERP systems such as SAP S4 Hana, and will collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, Accounting, and internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and service excellence. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical understanding of AP functions, demonstrated leadership in managing geographically distributed teams, and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to scaling AP operations in a complex, high-volume environment.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Global Shared Services AP team across time zones.
  • Supervise invoice processing and review for accuracy, coding, and approvals using SAP Serrala and SAP S4 Hana.
  • Conduct invoice audits and ensure timely payments to vendors, including preparation of weekly payment runs.
  • Monitor compliance with internal financial controls and policies, including SOX compliance.
  • Maintain up-to-date AP Standard Operating Procedures and documentation.
  • Track and analyze Key Performance Indicators to measure team performance and identify improvement areas.
  • Lead AP testing during ERP upgrades and support the audit process.
  • Oversee monthly statement reconciliations and resolution of vendor discrepancies.
  • Build strong relationships with vendors, business partners, and internal departments.
  • Participate in projects related to automation, reporting enhancements, and system streamlining.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of relevant accounts payable experience in complex, high-volume international environments.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing AP teams, including leadership of distributed/remote staff.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP S4 Hana and AP automation platforms (SAP Serrala strongly preferred).
  • Proven ability to lead through change and improve processes in fast-paced environments.
  • Familiarity with audit, SOX compliance, and internal controls.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Experience working in the semiconductor or manufacturing industry is a plus.
  • Background in publicly traded companies is preferred.
