GPC Philippines Corporation is currently seeking a Bookkeeper. This position will work from 5:00 am to 2:00 PM PHT and applies only to Philippine-based legal residents and citizens.

The Bookkeeper will play a key role in supporting the Controller and maintaining accurate, timely, and GAAP-compliant financial records for a fast-growing company that supports over 30 insurance agency clients. This is a detail-focused, non-managerial position that requires advanced QuickBooks Online experience and strong bookkeeping fundamentals. You'll work directly under the Controller, who is currently standing up the accounting function and building out the team. In this role, youll be hands-on with real accounting and invoice management across a high volume of clients. Strong attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Youll also help streamline monthly close activities, maintain client-specific financial records, ensure accurate coding and reconciliations, and assist with reporting. This role is remote and geared toward someone who thrives in a collaborative structure and enjoys improving systems while maintaining clean books across multiple accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records for multiple clients across accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank feeds, credit card transactions, and journal entries
Prepare reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and key general ledger accounts
Assist the Controller in monthly close activities including accruals and reporting support
Generate client-facing reports such as P&L, Balance Sheet, and cash flow summaries
Communicate with clients to clarify transactions and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies
Maintain up-to-date books in QuickBooks Online and ensure all client records remain GAAP-compliant
Assist with the onboarding of new clients and integration of their books into established workflows
Contribute to process improvement and documentation of bookkeeping standards
Provide support for audits or ad-hoc financial projects as directed by the Controller
Qualifications:
At least 57 years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience, preferably with U.S.-based clients
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online; QuickBooks Desktop and Xero are a plus
Experience supporting multiple clients simultaneously across industries or entities
Excellent attention to detail, especially in reconciliations and categorization
Strong understanding of accrual accounting and GAAP standards
Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets for reporting and analysis
Comfortable communicating with both internal stakeholders and external clients
Experience in high-volume environments is a plus
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
