GPC Philippines Corporation is currently seeking a Procurement Associate for a US-based client. This position will be working from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm PST and applicable for Philippine-based candidates only.

Job Description

The Procurement Associate is responsible for supporting the procurement team in executing efficient and compliant sourcing and purchasing processes for software, hardware, services, and other business needs. Core responsibilities include processing purchase requisitions and orders, facilitating vendor communications and onboarding, maintaining accurate procurement records, and supporting contract negotiations to drive cost savings and value. The role requires proactive coordination with internal teams to understand procurement requirements and ensure timely fulfillment while maintaining compliance with company policies. Additional responsibilities include managing vendor relationships, monitoring procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities, assisting in preparing procurement reports, and contributing to the continuous improvement of procurement processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in procurement operations, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with day-to-day procurement functions, including processing purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
  • Source and procure software, hardware, services, and technology-related items.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, terms, and procurement-related questions.
  • Facilitate the vendor onboarding process, including collecting necessary documentation and setting up new vendors in internal systems.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor information, and documentation of cost savings.
  • Support the negotiation of terms with vendors to help secure advantageous agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Track and monitor procurement activities, providing reports and insights to support procurement decision-making.
  • Contribute to process improvements and best practices to enhance procurement efficiency and compliance.


Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain support.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, sourcing practices, and vendor management.
  • Experience in purchasing software, hardware, and services is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in procurement or ERP systems and Microsoft Excel; experience with procurement automation tools is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
