GPC Philippines Corporation is currently seeking a Controller. This position will work from 12:00 am to 9:00 AM PHT and applies only to Philippine-based legal residents and citizens. Work time will shift to better hours over time.

Job Description 

You must have been a Controller for at least 2-3 years.  

The Controller plays a pivotal role in improving financial reporting, operational tracking, and decision-making for acquired businesses. This position requires expertise in U.S. GAAP accounting, financial statement reporting, bookkeeping, audit, tax compliance, and payroll. Responsibilities include managing financial reporting across multiple entities, transitioning businesses from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online or ERP systems, ensuring compliance, streamlining financial processes, and supporting key operational finance functions such as working capital management, KPI analysis, RFQ/PO tracking, and cash reconciliation. The ideal candidate will have a CPA certification, 5+ years of experience in accounting, strong analytical and communication skills, and prior experience in manufacturing-based businesses. Proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, NetSuite, and ERP systems is essential, along with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to implement financial solutions in a rapidly growing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage financial statements, general ledger reconciliations, and monthly closings in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Oversee transitioning acquired companies from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online or ERP systems like NetSuite, optimizing financial processes.
  • Ensure audit readiness, tax compliance, and payroll accuracy across multiple entities.
  • Identify financial reporting deficiencies and implement process improvements.
  • Manage working capital, budgeting, RFQ/PO tracking, and KPI aggregation to support business growth.
  • Conduct cash reconciliation, financial analysis, and variance reporting to aid in strategic decision-making.
  • Streamline payables, invoicing, and financial automation for newly integrated businesses.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop operational finance solutions and drive continuous improvement in financial reporting and tracking.
    

Qualifications:

  • CPA certification is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, and bookkeeping.
  • Expertise in U.S. GAAP, financial compliance, and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in manufacturing-based businesses (aerospace and defense experience is a plus).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill and explain complex financial concepts.
  • Ability to work independently, implement financial solutions, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
