GP2Oz Ltd are here to help you find a great position in Australia or New Zealand. We’re on hand to support you through the complex job search, registration, and visa applications. We’re here to make your relocation a little easier.
To allow us to do this, we need to collect your data. We do this solely for this purpose. We don’t request any data we don’t need nor do we transfer your information to anyone not involved in your relocation.
GP2Oz, a trading name of GP2Oz Limited, is a company registered in England & Wales with registration number 11906839. The registered office is International House, 24 Holborn Viaduct, London, EC1A 2BN. We provide recruitment services for GPs and other medical practitioners relocating to Australia and New Zealand. We take your privacy very seriously so the following information explains how we collect and use personal information about you.
What personal information do we collect?
We collect personal information provided by you such as your name and contact details. We use this to provide you with information on our services. With your consent, we will email you with job alerts and relevant information. If you have engaged us to assist you in finding a job then we will collect further data from your CV and referees. When you have secured a position, we will collect further information regarding your education and training.
You can submit data to us in many ways, including post, email, telephone and via our website. We will not ask you for data that we do not need.
We may collect third-party data from you when you sign up to job sites or social media sites.
We will collect limited data from our website users which help us improve your experience using the website. We use cookies and google analytics to identify and track users through the website. We are not able to identify you personally through this monitoring.
Type of information we may collect:
This information will be provided by you.
- Personal details such as name, email, address
- Your CV, education and training details
- References, with your authorisation
- Your medical registration information
- Information regarding your health
- Family member documents, where applicable, for visa application
- Payment details for medical registration applications.
How we use your data
We will use your data to stay in touch with you and make you aware of new jobs and relevant news. We will use the information collected from you for the purpose of securing you a job and to process your medical registration and visa applications.
The legal basis for us processing data is legitimate interest as you have engaged with us to help you find a job. We will, with your consent email you marketing information, however you can unsubscribe from any email communication at any stage by emailing sarah@gp2oz.com
Examples of how we may use your personal information
- To contact you via phone or email about your services, new jobs and updates on your applications
- Internal records
- With your verbal or written consent, sending your information to practices for job application
- We may use your data from your feedback forms
- To fulfil contractual obligations between you and your new employer
- To process your medical registration and visa applications
- We may also release your personal information to regulatory or law enforcement agencies, if required by law
How we may share your data
To enable us to find you a great job, ensure you hold the appropriate medical registration and visa, your personal data may be shared with medical practices including your new employer, the relevant medical Boards, Immigration Advisors and Immigration Departments or any other body required. You will be notified at each stage and we will not share your details without your prior knowledge.
How long will we store your data
For immigration and auditing purposes we will store your data for up to 7 years. After this date your records will be deleted.
The Security of your data
We are committed to keeping your data safe. We have an information security policy which all staff and subcontractors strictly adhere to. We make sure that we regularly review these policies and measures and, where necessary, improve them.
We hold your data on a secure, password protected database (EBOSS) and use Microsoft for our email exchange. Your data is stored only for as long as required.
Your data may be transferred outside of the UK/EU if you are applying for a position in Australia or New Zealand. If you secure a job then we will need to send your data to third parties to complete your registration and visa applications. We will let you know to whom and where we are sending your information. We ensure that the organisations where data is transmitted have provided adequate level of protection.
Your rights:
You can, at any time, request access to your data, restrict how we use information or withdraw your consent to the use of your personal information at any time. If you have engaged us to help us secure you employment, then this may affect our ability to complete the required processes.

You have the right to make a complaint at any time to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority for data protection issue.
