Position: General Practitioner, MM1 & DPA

Location: Newcastle, NSW, Australia

Contract Details: Full-time, 3 years duration

GP2Oz Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated General Practitioner to join a general practice team in Newcastle, who are committed to providing high-quality healthcare services to their local community.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages

- Conduct thorough and accurate assessments, diagnosis, and treatment plans

- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care

- Educate and counsel patients on preventive healthcare measures

- Participate in quality improvement activities and adhere to clinical guidelines

- Keep up-to-date with medical advancements and attend relevant training and conferences

- Contribute to the overall success of the practice by actively promoting our services and participating in marketing initiatives

Requirements:

- MBBS or equivalent degree from a recognized institution

- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or ability to gain this

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a General Practitioner

- Specialist GP qualification from the UK/Ireland/Canada/NZ/HK/Malaysia

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong diagnostic and decision-making skills

- Commitment to ongoing professional development
