DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
The Business Development & Training Specialist will be responsible for analyzing skills gaps to determine training needs, creating courses for individual or group trainings and overseeing the training budget. The Business Development & Training Specialist will also be responsible for developing a network of contacts to attract new clients, research new market opportunities and oversee growth projects, making sales projections and forecasting revenue, in line with projected income.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops training and development programs and objectives based on business goals
- Recommend new training methods
- Manage quarterly and annual training budgets
- Obtains and /or develops effective training materials utilizing a variety of media
- Works effectively as a team member
- Conducts follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results.
- Plans, organizes, facilitates and orders supplies for training events
- Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings
- Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
- Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
- Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
- Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Marketing or any other related field.
- Minimum of 4 years experience designing and implementing training development programs.
- Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills
- Strong presentation skills.
- Ability to adapt with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
- Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
- Ability to design and implement effective training and development.
- Must be a member a relevant professional bodies
