IT SPECIALIST

KSM MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT, the largest HR firm in Zambia recently acquired GOZAMBIAJOBS.CO.ZM, becoming the largest recruitment platform in the country is now actively looking to recruit IT SPECIALIST on behalf of our client.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

The IT SPECIALIST will be responsible for Installing or updating components, configuring software, assisting with network management, and addressing any IT related issues. In addition, enhancing system performance, and securing data.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Installing new software and hardware components.
• Regularly evaluating IT systems to ensure they meet the necessary demands.
• Assisting with network administration tasks.
• Determining IT needs and train end-users.
• Advanced knowledge of database maintenance and system security.
• Ensuring data storage of the organization is safe and secure.
• Resolving all issues employees have with their IT systems and software.
• Supporting the day-to-day operations of our computer network.
• Keeping up with technical innovation and trends in IT support.

Education & Experience

• Degree in Computer science, Information technology or a related field is preferable.
• 2 years minimum experience in a similar technical support role
• Expert in Microsoft Office Packages
• Familiar with a range of hardware and software
• In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.
• Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
