DRIVER
Job Description:
KSM MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT, the largest HR firm in Zambia recently acquired GOZAMBIAJOBS.CO.ZM, becoming the largest recruitment platform in the country is now actively looking to recruit DRIVER on behalf of our client.
DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
The DRIVER will be responsible for maintaining an organized travel schedule and ensuring professional conduct when carrying staff and visitors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carrying out routine vehicle maintenance checks on all vehicles and ensuring that they are road worthy.
- To ensure that all vehicles comply with government regulations by having up to date Road Tax, Insurance and Fitness certificates.
- Pay toll fees and other fundamental vehicle demands.
- Always obey traffic rules.
- Ensure that vehicles are kept clean all the time both inside and outside.
- Ensure that any vehicle assigned for administrative errands have a logbook, which has to be updated all the time.
- Perform periodic maintenance on vehicles, such as changing batteries and motor oil at appropriate time, as well as refuelling the car(s).
- Report any case of accident, injury, or damage of vehicles to the supervisor.
- Maintain a record of all vehicles to ensure that they are serviced as and when due.
- Maintaining an organized travel schedule.
- Support the Administrative Assistant with transport to enable him/her carry out office errands.
- Maintain professional conduct when carrying staff and or visitors.
- Transport products, materials, staff and visitors securely to areas where they are needed in a timely manner.
- Guarantee that products, staff and visitors are protected and secured all the time.
- Ensure timely conveyance of staff and materials to and from places as instructed by the supervisor.
- Recognize electrical and mechanical faults and report to the supervisor immediately.
- Always ensure that the office building is locked and secured when everyone knocks off.
- Attend to any emergencies during weekends.
- In exceptional circumstances, you will be required to pick up or hand over vehicles that have been assigned.
- Airport pick up and drop off during weekends for Curia staff.
- Ensure that the surroundings are clean by supervising the Gardner/Cleaner.
- Ensure that appliances (bulbs, security lights, door handles etc.) are always in good working condition and report any emergencies immediately
Education & Experience
- Grade 12 School Certificate
- Valid driver's license
- Has been driving for at least 5 years.
- Great time management skills
- Honesty and Integrity (A must)
- Great customer attitude and attentiveness
- Ability to operate a vehicle for 8 hours.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment; Gentle and Respectful.
Salary: K5,500 - K6,300 Gross Pay
