Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Core Network & Security professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our clients' core network and security infrastructure, ensuring the highest level of performance and security.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain core network and security infrastructure for our clients

- Monitor and troubleshoot network and security issues, ensuring timely resolution

- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify potential risks and recommend solutions

- Develop and maintain network and security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices

- Collaborate with other teams, such as IT, to ensure smooth integration of network and security systems

- Stay up-to-date with the latest network and security technologies and trends, and make recommendations for improvements and upgrades

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members

- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for network and security services and products

- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and incident response

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network and security administration, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role

- Strong knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols

- Experience with network security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs

- Experience with network monitoring and management tools, such as SolarWinds or PRTG

- Knowledge of cloud networking and security concepts, such as AWS or Azure

- Strong understanding of network and security best practices and industry standards

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, or equivalent are a plus
