Job Title: Systems Engineer - VMware & VDI Infrastructure

Location: Remote (Latin America only)

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to focus on the development, support, and enhancement of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) for our internal teams. If you have strong experience with VMware Horizon and are familiar with Azure Virtual Desktop, this is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Your Impact:

• You will be responsible for managing and optimizing both on-premises and cloud-based VDI infrastructure.
• Utilize various monitoring tools to ensure the VDI platform performs at its best for internal users.
• Continuously improve the VMware Horizon and Azure Virtual Desktop environments to meet evolving business needs.
• Collaborate with a globally distributed team across the US, EU, and APAC regions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and support VMware Horizon infrastructure and virtual desktop environments.
• Manage Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
• Provide support for Azure Virtual Desktop (experience a plus).
• Utilize KPIs to drive performance improvements and optimize VDI environments.
• Work with internal stakeholders across different business units and time zones.
• Troubleshoot and resolve VDI and infrastructure-related issues in a timely manner.

Key Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with VMware Horizon.
• Strong experience in administering Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Group Policy Objects (GPO).
• Familiarity with Azure Virtual Desktop (experience is a plus).
• Proven ability to analyze and improve system performance using KPIs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work across time zones and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve VDI and infrastructure issues quickly.
