IAM Specialist (StrongDM, AWS)

Location: Remote (Latin America only)
English Proficiency: B2+ or higher

Overview:
We are looking for an experienced IAM Specialist with a strong background in AWS and StrongDM to manage the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of StrongDM in cloud environments. This role requires deep expertise in implementing StrongDM as an access management solution, ensuring secure and scalable access for cloud resources.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and manage StrongDM within an AWS cloud environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to StrongDM and its integration with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless access management and security for applications and infrastructure.
• Administer and fine-tune IAM policies, permissions, and roles in AWS to integrate with StrongDM.
• Optimize and monitor the access control processes, ensuring high availability and security of cloud resources.
• Provide expert-level support for troubleshooting StrongDM-related issues and IAM configurations in AWS.
• Continuously evaluate and improve security practices in access management using StrongDM and AWS IAM.
• Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for ongoing maintenance.
  

Requirements:

• Proven experience with StrongDM installation, configuration, and troubleshooting in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
• Extensive experience with AWS services, particularly IAM, EC2, and other access management-related services.
• Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts, including roles, policies, and permissions in AWS.
• Solid troubleshooting skills for cloud infrastructure and IAM issues.
• Experience with cloud security best practices, including securing access and ensuring compliance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to solve complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills in English (B2+ or higher) to interact with internal teams and document technical procedures.

Desirable:

• Experience with other IAM tools and cloud security solutions.
• Strong familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automating tasks.
