Job Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and engage industry partners to expand opportunities for internships, career placements, and collaborative initiatives, including actively sourcing new partners through cold calling.
  • Draft, negotiate and manage Memoranda of Understanding (MOUS), partnership agreements and collaboration frameworks in alignment with university policies.
  • Serve as the main liaison between industry partners and university leadership, faculty, students and the internal teams.
  • Understand employer partners' businesses and objectives through industry research.
  • Develop industry engagement strategies and value propositions for employer partners in assigned industries to position as the premium talent source in engineering background.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute career-related events including industry talks, employer/alumni visits, networking sessions, and workshops.
  • Identify and maintain a collation of success stories to strengthen the Universitys visibility and reputation with employers and alumni.
  • Track employer partnerships, student participation, and placement outcomes to monitor effectiveness.
  • Monitor market trends and performance metrics to provide insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Participate in relevant training programmes, industry workshops, and professional development courses.

Job Responisbilities

  • Bachelors degree with at least five years of relevant experience in corporate partnerships or career services, preferably within an educational institution, is required. Candidates with seven or more years of experience, including team leadership, may be considered for the Manager-level role.
  • Proven ability to engage and secure industry partners, with a strong record of delivering measurable partnership growth or placements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, able to engage stakeholders at all levels (students, faculty, alumni, HR personnels and C-suite).
  • Strong conceptual and analytical thinking skills.
  • Experienced, confident and effective working in cross-cultural setting
  • High level of written and oral communication skills.
  • Proactive, resourceful, adaptable, self-motivated, and a good teamplayer.
  • IT proficiency with MS Office applications and database management systems
  • Ability to manage high-stress situations and multiple competing priorities effectively.
