About the job IT Infrastructure Manager (Operation Service Support | East)
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Operation Service Support (OSS) team, managing all local and global IT infrastructure activities in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee new deployments, life cycle management, system support, and application maintenance for IT infrastructure components.
- Ensure quality control in system design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and training.
- Collaborate with business units to understand requirements and set priorities based on allocated budget and resources.
- Establish and maintain sound procedures and best practices for efficient team operations.
- Work closely with global service teams to formulate and execute IT infrastructure strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Manage and monitor system performance to ensure stability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Assist the Head of Department in managing and controlling IT infrastructure budgets.
- Supervise, guide, and develop team members through training, mentorship, and performance reviews.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, preferably in manufacturing or semiconductor industries.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Linux (SuSE), Windows, and WAN/LAN environments.
- Proven experience in project management, vendor management, and e-commerce or manufacturing IT systems.
- Excellent communication, writing, and documentation skills.
- A proactive team player with leadership capabilities and strong problem-solving skills.
