About the job Shift Process Technician | Chemical MNC | Jurong Island
Jobscope:
- Operate the process to meet the conditions specified in manuals/instructions
- Operate the process equipment at site in accordance with operation plan.
- Take measures to improve production status and equipment performance on productivity and quality after approval of shift senior technician
- Patrol plant process, confirm the condition of process and equipment and report disordered matter to senior shift technicians.
- Take a sampling for analysis of products and process evaluation.
- Report all incidents, near misses, deviation from plan and take part in further investigation when required.
- Assist in coordination of daily maintenance planning, and participate in maintenance activities and shutdown/start-up of sections.
- Provide support for maintenance group /quality control group, if any problem arises.
- Perform the role as an auxiliary fire Fighter
Requirements:
- Diploma or NITEC in Chemical engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 year experience in chemical plant. The experience in polymerization unit and extrusion unit or a minimum 3 year experience in manufacturing plant such compounding or extrusion is advantageous.
- Possess basic knowledge of maintenance, chemical engineering and analytical procedures.
- Experience in operation via DCS systems is advantageous
- An effective team player with good communication
- Able to work shift in a fast paced environment.
