About the job Senior Workshop Engineer (Scheduler) | MNC | North
- Daily Scheduling Plan and coordinate field technician assignments, handle urgent job reallocations, and ensure readiness for next-day deployments.
- Job Reassignments Manage last-minute changes due to medical leave or unforeseen field issues, reallocating jobs between in-house and partner technicians
- Parts Preparation Review service appointments and assign necessary spare parts for engineers ahead of schedule.
- Workshop Management Maintain workshop cleanliness, oversee appliance scrapping, refurbishment, and stock cycle counts.
- Technical Support Act as first-level support for service engineers and mentor junior staff on technical issues.
- Vehicle & Documentation Upkeep Manage SE vehicle requirements (road tax, licenses) and ensure accurate job and asset documentation.
- Audit & Compliance Support adherence to company policies and participate in internal/external audits (e.g., ISO, ICS).
- Backup Field Service Step in for urgent service repairs, conduct on-site troubleshooting, and handle payment and service closure
Requirements
- Min. Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronics and Engineering related discipline
- 3-5 years experience in customer service or technical support
- Hands on experience with repair of home appliances or similar commercial appliances
- MS Office is essential
- Adaptability to new technology
- Able to handle mobile devices (Eg. iPAD, Tablets, Smartphones, Credit Card Terminals)
