Responsibilities

  • The primary objective of the L2 Application Production Support role is to ensure the efficient operation and stability of applications, primarily on the Boomi platform, along with other enterprise application platforms.
  • Provide timely issue resolution, managing production data migrations, and overseeing production database operations.
  • Ensuring application uptime and system reliability through effective Operations & Availability Management.
  • Managing Incident & Problem Resolution by diagnosing and resolving application-related issues promptly while identifying root causes and implementing long-term solutions.
  • Overseeing Change & Service Request Management by assessing and implementing system changes with minimal disruption and efficiently handling user queries and requests.
  • Leading Release & Deployment Management to coordinate seamless application updates and deployments.
  • Capacity Management, monitoring and optimizing application performance and scalability.
  • Knowledge Management, documenting resolutions, best practices, and operational procedures.
  • Continual Service Improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance system performance and support processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years in application support or L2 support.
  • Prior experience in application development, maintenance, support, and deployment is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of the Boomi Platform, particularly Boomi Integrations, a low/no-code iPaaS solution designed for intelligent, cloud-native file conversion with dedicated modules for User Interface screens (Boomi Flow) and file conversion logic (Boomi Atom).
  • Proficiency in relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience in SQL scripting for database queries and optimization.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the AWS suite of services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong emphasis on technical documentation.
