Main Responsibilities

  • Oversee software quality assurance activities for internal engineering projects, including managing the QA team to ensure delivery of high-quality products.
  • Collaborate with QA and automation engineers within Agile development cycles, spanning various platforms and software teams.
  • Review and enhance testing strategies while fostering a culture of continuous improvement in quality and efficiency.
  • Lead and coordinate testing efforts including System Testing, System Integration Testing, End-to-End Testing, Regression Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Ensure effective cross-departmental communication to support needs analysis, requirement gathering, and operational planning.
  • Work closely with vendors, technical, business, and operations teams to support and deliver program testing outcomes.
  • Coordinate with external parties to align test schedules, environments, and data, while maintaining governance across all testing phases.
  • Evaluate test plans, analyze test results, assess risks, and review release documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify and resolve constraints, dependencies, and risks, support project teams, and manage meeting documentation and coordination.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation, including UAT scenarios, End-to-End test cases, and test scripts.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies is advantageous.
  • Manage various test phases of the cash and payment systems, including regression, integration, functional, E2E, and automation testing.
  • Demonstrate solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Defect Life Cycle processes.
  • Maintain and update test libraries with accurate test cases and scenarios.
  • Collaborate with SIT and UAT testing teams, review test scenarios, clarify requirements, and support testers and developers.
  • Log and track defects using a defect management tool, prioritizing issues based on severity, and alert management when needed.
  • Generate and present regular reports on testing progress and outcomes.
  • Lead defect management processes, including tracking, analysis, and resolution.
  • Familiarity with test management tools such as XRAY and JIRA.

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 10 years of overall experience, with 5 - 7 years in project management roles focused on payment systems and cash management applications.
  • Hands-on experience with payment systems, including Payments Hub, clearing and settlement systems, ACH programs, and related channels.
  • In-depth knowledge of payment domains, including clearing interactions, ISO 20022 formats, SEPA, and SWIFT protocols, with experience in data mapping and validation.
  • Practical experience in working with diverse payment methods such as TT, RTGS, LVP, Payroll, Cheques, Demand Drafts, Cashier Orders, and Mass/Bulk Payments.
  • Proficient in UAT, E2E, functional, and system integration testing of financial and banking applications.
  • Desirable experience in Retail, Wholesale & Corporate Banking, Domestic/International Payments, Payment Factory, ACH, Real-Time Payments, Liquidity Management, Compliance/AML, FX, and Swift/ISO messaging.
  • Functional testing experience with GPP-SP (Global PayPlus Service Platform).
  • Thorough understanding of the full IT system development and testing life cycles.
  • Able to build strong working relationships with program directors, architects, QA, and technical teams across global locations with occasional travel if required.
