About the job Infrastructure Engineer (1 year)
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, network devices, storage systems, and internal applications.
- Perform routine system administration tasks such as software updates, data backups, performance tuning, and security patching.
- Configure, install, and maintain network equipment (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs) and ensure secure, reliable connectivity.
- Monitor and analyze system and network performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Administer and support in-house applications, ensuring ongoing maintenance, updates, and availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business system delivery, including procurement and IT support processes.
- Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions.
Requirement:
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT infrastructure support, systems, and network administration.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, and TCP/IP networking.
- Hands-on experience with MS SQL, Microsoft Office, and infrastructure security tools.
- Proficient in LAN/WAN setup, network monitoring, and troubleshooting tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, Microsoft, AWS, or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
