IT Support Engineer (UAT environment)

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations and maintenance of UAT environments.

• Provide application and testing support for software development teams.

• Assist project managers with technical support throughout project lifecycles.

• Operate and maintain both Windows and Linux server environments.

• Set up infrastructure and deploy application environments.

• Perform user and account management tasks.

• Develop and maintain process and procedure documentation for applications.

• Design, implement, and support CI/CD pipelines to optimize software delivery.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in software development, testing support, and Windows server operations.

• Hands-on experience in:

  • Windows Server OS management and support

  • Linux server operations, with strong command-line proficiency

  • Database querying using Oracle or MSSQL

  • SSH/SFTP server-client operations

  • Public/private key and certificate generation for encryption

  • IIS web server management, including SSL certificate generation

  • MSMQ (Microsoft Message Queuing) service

  • Leading or contributing to IT/software projects

  • DevOps engineering or related roles

Technical Skills:

• Must Have:

  • PowerShell scripting

  • Windows Batch scripting

• Good to Have:

• VB scripting

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices

• Experience with at least one programming language

• Additional scripting or coding abilities are a plus.
