  • Lead a medium to large project team of internal and/or external resources to deliver a specified program/project within agreed parameters, with projects likely being complex and involving significant benefits/risks to the organization, either as standalone projects or as part of a Workstream within the overall organizational program.
  • Own and be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting agreed cost, scope, schedule, and outcomes, ensuring all aspects are baselined and traceable, while managing the project lifecycle from requirements through to design, technical construction, testing, acceptance, training, documentation, and implementation, in line with the Project Management Process and Methodology, and participating in pre-project activities such as effort estimation, project planning, and team organization.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and dependencies, and drive project execution from initiation to closure.
  • Manage and lead project teams while fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability, ensuring strong cross-functional teamwork and alignment to project goals, effectively communicating project progress, status, key decisions, and providing regular updates on metrics, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Own and be responsible for the successful delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, meeting requirements, and within allocated budget, while managing the project lifecycle from requirements, design, technical construction, testing, acceptance, training, documentation, and implementation, in accordance with the Project Management Process and Methodology, and participating in pre-project activities such as effort estimation, high-level project planning, and resource staffing.
  • Work closely with project owners or sponsors to drive strategic or major initiatives aligned with the organizations roadmap and strategy, while managing relationships across departments, vendors, and external partners, defining requirements, agreeing on terms, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Monitor and track project progress to ensure smooth execution, analyze and mitigate project risks, manage project dependencies, maintain an issue register until resolution, and deliver regular Management Information and reports to support decision-making, while addressing business and regulatory compliance risks.
  • Stay informed on industry trends related to regulatory compliance, emerging threats, and technologies, share insights to safeguard the company, and proactively highlight concerns/risks while sharing best practices for risk management.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in IT Project Management within the financial industry, specifically in the payments domain.
  • Demonstrated expertise and technical proficiency in corporate banking cross-border payments and project management.
  • Extensive experience in managing the complete software development lifecycle, employing various development methodologies and ensuring successful implementation.
  • In-depth knowledge of Project Management and Business Analysis practices.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to manage stakeholders and maintain relationships on large-scale projects.
  • Exceptional team management, influencing, and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.
  • Proven delivery management experience, with a track record of successfully managing and driving projects to on-time and smooth execution.
