About the job IT Support Analyst (Healthcare / Lab Systems) - 2 yrs contract
Responsibilities:
- Manage and track IT-reviewed change requests; keep requestors updated on deployment timelines.
- Compile and submit lab workload statistic reports.
- Periodically monitor and review interface error queues.
- Attain Beaker Analyst certification to support lab systems.
- Process simple change requests and assist with system implementation activities.
- Prepare quarterly vulnerability scan reports and support remediation for virtual servers.
- Verify in-house application functionality after patching or maintenance.
- Contribute to quarterly system patch and technology refresh reports.
- Coordinate with infrastructure teams on unplanned patching or maintenance.
- Assist in annual PAM/database user access review exercises.
- Monitor IT announcements and alert relevant teams on impacted systems.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Information Technology or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Basic understanding of IT systems, applications, and infrastructure.
- Awareness of cybersecurity and system maintenance practices.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in following up on tasks.
- Eager to learn, adaptable, and self-motivated.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities under tight deadlines.
- Prior experience in a healthcare or laboratory environment is a plus.
