Responsibilities

  • Create, manage, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, tests, and deployments across Development, Staging, and Production environments.
  • Ensure secure software delivery in air-gapped or restricted environments.
  • Manage release processes, version tagging, deployment approvals, and artifact registries for secure storage and distribution.
  • Use deployment orchestration tools to streamline application rollout.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure automation blueprints/templates to standardize system setup and configurations.
  • Implement rollback and version control mechanisms for infrastructure and manage load balancers for consistent routing and failover.
  • Develop and execute automated and manual tests for software products, device reliability, and configuration standards.
  • Collaborate with developers to define quality requirements, troubleshoot issues, improve test coverage, and provide feedback for better testability.
  • Conduct end-to-end system testing, including workflows, environments, and load testing, to ensure solution reliability.
  • Assist in replicating production issues and customer-reported defects for root cause analysis.
  • Stay updated with software testing tools, DevOps trends, and best practices.


Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
  • Hands-on experience in DevOps/DevSecOps roles, preferably in air-gapped or secure environments.
  • Strong expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, and YAML pipeline management.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation, orchestration, and artifact registries (e.g., Nexus, Harbor).
  • QA experience with both manual and automated testing, especially for device and software validation.
  • Proficiency in Linux environments and Bash scripting for automation.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, agile environments with a focus on quality and security.


Preferred Certifications

  • Kubernetes: CKA, CKS
  • GitLab: CI/CD Associate, Security Specialist
  • DevOps/Site Reliability: Linux Foundation (e.g., CGOA)
  • HashiCorp Terraform: Associate or Authoring & Operations Professional
  • Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform
  • Cloud DevOps certifications: AWS, Azure, or GCP
