Steel Manager $6500

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all shipyard steel fabrication, sub-assembly, and block erection processes to ensure timely project delivery.
• Develop and implement efficient steel production schedules in line with overall objective
• Ensure all steelworks comply with Class society standards, client specifications, and QA/QC requirements.
• Optimize resource allocation, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to maximize productivity and minimize wastage.
• Work closely with the HSE department to enforce strict safety protocols and foster strong culture on work sites
• Manage and evaluate the performance of Steel Supervisors and sub-contractors workforce

Requirements

• Bachelors degree or Diploma in Naval Architecture, Marine, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 8-10 years working experience in a relevant shipyard management role.
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Able to work in Batam, Indonesia Full time
