About the job (Senior) IT Project Manager
Responsibilities:
- Lead project teams to ensure successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Develop strategies to engage customers and partners for long-term, win-win outcomes.
- Mentor and guide team leads/managers to build strong, collaborative teams.
- Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and vendor coordination.
- Anticipate and mitigate project risks, managing changes effectively.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and third-party vendors.
- Provide regular progress updates to both clients and internal stakeholders.
- Track performance and drive continuous improvement across projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years professional experience, including 5+ years in project management of large-scale turnkey projects.
- Proven track record of delivering or consulting on at least one major project in the last 5 years.
- At least 2 years in a senior leadership role (Senior Project Manager, Project Director, or equivalent).
- PMP certification preferred; Scrum Master or agile project experience is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, planning, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with government IT projects or IT projects involving civil works is a plus.
