About the job Senior System Engineer | Contract
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee end-to-end infrastructure integration activities across network, systems, cybersecurity, and application environments.
- Serve as the main technical liaison for customers, stakeholders, and project teams.
- Ensure all vendor-delivered solutions align with approved architecture, technical specifications, and project objectives.
- Coordinate technical dependencies, system validation activities, and risk mitigation efforts throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review and validate infrastructure deployment, migration, and integration plans.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and engineers to troubleshoot and resolve integration or technical issues.
- Support infrastructure hardening initiatives, vulnerability remediation, and compliance-related activities.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation such as design specifications, implementation procedures, SOPs, and as-built documents.
Requirements:
Infrastructure & Systems
- Strong expertise in enterprise infrastructure technologies, including servers, storage, and virtualization platforms.
- Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end integration across enterprise IT systems and environments.

Hands-on experience with the following technologies:
- Active Directory (AD) — domain services, Group Policy (GPO), and identity/access management
- Microsoft Windows Server — deployment, administration, patching, and configuration management
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) — installation, administration, patching, and system configuration
- Tanium — endpoint patch management and update governance
- VMware vSphere / ESXi / VMware Cloud Foundation — virtualization, infrastructure provisioning, and resource management
- Enterprise SAN storage solutions such as Hitachi and Dell EMC — storage allocation, zoning, LUN management, and performance optimization
Security & Compliance
- Experience implementing CIS hardening standards for Windows and Linux environments.
- Familiar with vulnerability assessment (VA) processes, including remediation tracking and resolution of security findings.
- Good understanding of infrastructure monitoring, backup strategies, and enterprise security best practices.
Documentation & Communication

Proven experience preparing and maintaining technical documentation, including:
- Technical design documents
- Deployment and implementation guides
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- As-built documentation
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and coordination skills.
- Able to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams.
Qualifications & Certifications
- Relevant certifications in Microsoft, VMware, Red Hat, or cybersecurity technologies will be an added advantage.
