Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue, margin, and customer acquisition targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while expanding existing customer accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with engineers, procurement teams, production managers, and key decision-makers.
- Understand customers' technical requirements and recommend suitable products and engineering solutions from MISUMI's product portfolio.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and manage the sales cycle from enquiry to order closure.
- Conduct customer visits, technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution proposals.
- Provide technical advice and product recommendations on factory automation components, mechanical parts, tooling, linear motion products, pneumatic components, and industrial consumables.
- Work closely with Product Management, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Technical Support teams to ensure timely order fulfilment and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify business opportunities.
- Manage sales forecasts, pipeline activities, CRM updates, and monthly sales reporting.
- Support product launches, marketing campaigns, exhibitions, and customer seminars.
- Resolve customer enquiries and coordinate after-sales support to maintain long-term customer relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4–6 years of experience in technical sales, engineering sales, industrial distribution, factory automation, precision components, or related industries.
- Experience selling technical products to manufacturing, semiconductor, automation, machinery, or industrial customers.
- Strong understanding of industrial components, mechanical systems, automation products, or engineering applications.
- Proven track record in business development and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong commercial acumen with a consultative, customer-centric approach.
- Self-driven, proactive, and able to manage multiple customer accounts independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
