Steel Supervisor $5500

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily steel fabrication and erection activities, ensuring work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and enforce all HSE policies on work sites.
• Distribute work assignments to foremen, fitters, and welders, monitoring daily progress against production targets.
• Coordinate with QA/QC inspectors for joint fit-up and weld visual inspections.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy/requirements are constantly monitored
• Ensure proper housekeeping and equipment upkeeping in the assigned work areas.
• Track daily manpower attendance and manage overtime requests.

Requirements

• Technical certificate or Diploma; welding inspector certifications (e.g., CSWIP) is a plus.
• At least 5-8 years working experience as a structural/steel supervisor in a shipyard.
•  Basic computer skills for daily reporting and email communication.
• Able to work in Batam, Indonesia Full time
