Job description:

  • Take ownership of equipment performance and drive improvement projects to achieve optimal maintenance cost per wafer, equipment reliability, wafer fab yield, and throughput performance.
  • Manage new equipment start-up activities, including vendor coordination and equipment qualification for production acceptance.
  • Plan, organize, and provide technical support and expertise for specific tools to Assistant Maintenance Engineers and Technicians.
  • Develop corrective maintenance (CM) procedures and troubleshooting guides to improve troubleshooting efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Establish preventive maintenance (PM) procedures to achieve maximum maintenance efficiency without compromising quality standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to Assistant Maintenance Engineers and Technicians to enhance troubleshooting skills and technical knowledge.
  • Monitor and maintain critical spare parts and consumables inventory to support fast equipment recovery and minimize downtime.
  • Translate Production and Engineering requirements into effective maintenance tasks and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to achieve manufacturing targets.
  • Participate in cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Generate and analyze equipment downtime Pareto reports to identify chronic or recurring issues and implement corrective actions.

Someone who:

· Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics.

· Minimum 10 years of experience in Electroplating processes using AMAT Raider tools (Raider Edge version installed on site).

· Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with bath analysis systems supported by Nova Ankolyzer.

· In-depth technical expertise and understanding of the related equipment and processes.

· Able to work independently with minimal supervision and support.

· Good knowledge in reading and analyzing electrical schematics and block diagrams.

· Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

· Familiar with statistical analysis tools, problem-solving methodologies, FMEA, and 8D processes.

· Knowledge of PLC programming will be an added advantage.

· Familiarity with AI tools or applications will be an added advantage.
