About the job Production Technician (8 hours shift) | Chemical MNC | Tuas

  • Responsible for maintaining feedstock to the unit.
  • Responsible for proper and representative sampling throughout the production run.
  • Ensures uniform packing throughout production run.
  • Participates in safety and first aid programs conducted at the plant and maintain high standard of safety consciousness.
  • Ensure good housekeeping within Control room/production plant area.
  • Attends safety meetings and regularly makes safety suggestions.
  • Observes safety rules and regulations, identify potential hazards in workplace and report unsafe conditions and act.
  • Execute and support all ISO SYSTEMS assigned duties.
  • Performs and assumes other duties and responsibilities as may be required by the Production Shift Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Minimum a GCE O level and 3 years industrial experience
  • Must be familiar with process control parameters for catalyst manufacturing and regeneration activities.
  • Must be able to perform in process QC tests (LOI, Length check, Carbon/sulfur analysis, PSD check, etc)
  • Any other duties as assigned
  • Possess certification in Supervisory course, First Aid Courses,, Safety Committee Members training course, Forklift Drivers Course, Work at Height for Supervisor, SIC Manhole for Supervisor is an advantage
  • Willing to work at Tuas on 8 hours rotating shift.
