Dental Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments, taking x-rays, and providing suction
• Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments and equipment
• Taking and developing dental x-rays
• Educating patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Scheduling and confirming appointments
• Maintaining patient records and ensuring they are up-to-date and accurate
• Ordering and maintaining inventory of dental supplies
• Providing support to the front office team as needed

Qualifications:

• B1/B2 German skills 
• Completion of an accredited dental assistant program - if not yet accredited we can help in this process
• Current CPR certification
• X-ray certification (if required by state)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• Prior experience in a dental office is preferred but not required
