Software Developer - for Siemens S7 TIA Portal - B1/B2 German 

Your Tasks

  • Continuously advancing our software standards is crucial for the success and quality of our machine controls and for further increasing efficiency in software development. Particularly in the area of Siemens S7 controls, we aim to strengthen our position. Therefore, we are looking for youa motivated individual ready to significantly advance this important area.
  • You will lead and shape the development and maintenance of our Siemens TIA Portal standard framework and other software modules, including their documentation, in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
  • You will efficiently manage software versions to ensure our product quality and consistency.
  • You will ensure high software quality through systematic testing procedures and continuous optimization of our development and commissioning processes.
  • You will work on our innovative tool for automated code generation and contribute to optimizing our workflows in software development and (virtual) commissioning.
  • You will support the implementation and debugging of our machine controls and promote understanding and effective use of our software standards through training for internal and external stakeholders.
  • You will foster innovation by identifying new technologies early, analyzing their feasibility, and accelerating their introduction.

Your Profile

  • B1/ B2 German skills
  • You have completed a degree in electrical engineering, computer science, technical computer science, or a comparable qualification.
  • You already have profound professional experience in software development, particularly in handling Siemens S7 controls and TIA Portal.
  • A deep understanding of complex automation solutions distinguishes you.
  • You have an agile and structured working style coupled with the ability to quickly grasp new technologies.
  • You have a pronounced ability to work in a team, take responsibility, and self-organize.
  • You possess a passion for challenges, innovations, and the enjoyment of continuous improvement.
  • You are willing to travel occasionally to support our projects on-site.
