Software Engineer for PCS7 

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning, implementation, and commissioning of process control systems tailored to customer requirements
• Specification and selection of new systems
• Creation of PLC programs and realization of interfaces
• Conducting in-house tests as well as coordinating and handling commissioning both domestically and internationally
• Training employees and customers
• Creating and maintaining project-related documentation such as functional specifications, project plans, test plans, and operating instructions
• Troubleshooting at the customers site worldwide and providing remote maintenance for the systems we have installed

Qualifications:

• Completed studies in electrical or automation engineering, or training as a state-certified technician (m/f/d) in the field of electrical or automation engineering
• Expert knowledge in PCS7 and strong familiarity with Braumat, CEMAT, or Batch
• Responsibility and enthusiasm for worldwide commissioning, as well as strong teamwork skills
• Willingness to travel internationally
• Very good English skills; German language skills are advantageous
• Several years of professional experience in automation technology, preferably in the beverage and food or cement industries
• Knowledge of Simatic S7 / TIA Portal and/or B&R
• Experience in visualizing machine functionalities (HMI)
