About the job US Audit Manager - IGTAD
Responsibilities:
- Become familiar with the firm's policies and procedures;
- Perform audit and/or accounting necessary procedures as needed or as assigned;
- Plan, coordinate, and manage audit engagements from start to finish;
- Ensure audit procedures are conducted in accordance with the required standards and firm policies;
- Meet the billable hours set by the Client;
- Handle and manage multiple priorities, and deliver projects and engagements on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction;
- Overseeing the completion of tasks/projects in accordance with the defined procedures and within quality parameters with minimal errors;
- Develop audit strategies and procedures tailored to each client's needs;
- Supervise audit staff and review their work for accuracy and compliance;
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and firm leadership;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients;
- Address client inquiries and provide guidance on complex audit issues.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations;
- Mentor and train audit staff and seniors, providing constructive feedback and guidance;
- Conduct performance evaluations and participate in staff development programs;
- Promote a positive and collaborative team environment;
- Stay current with changes in accounting and auditing standards and regulations;
- Provide technical support and expertise to audit teams and clients;
- Identify and implement best practices to enhance audit processes;
- Address disciplinary/performance issues and follow through on disciplinary/ performance processes;
- Raise appropriate review points and discussion on work done ensuring that Analysts understand and learn;
- Demonstrate ability to lead or coordinate and display ownership of projects /initiatives;
- Present ideas and suggestions on how to improve work processes.
Qualifications:
- Graduate with a BS in Accountancy preferably with an MBA
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant
- Minimum of 6 years public audit experience
- With 3 years of relevant work experience at Supervisory or Managerial level
- Must demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of US GAAP
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Should have strong ability in working and effectively communicating with team members at all levels including senior management
- Ability to coach subordinates in the development of their career and skills
- Be a lateral thinker and comfortable in leading and guiding team members as necessary
- Must be willing to work in a hybrid arrangement and in a night shift schedule
