Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Accounting or any relevant degree
  • Must have 5 to 7 years of relevant experience working in US General Accounting and/or Bookkeeping
  • Proficient skills in QuickBooks and Sage/Xero
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Previous experience in a Senior role is highly advantageous
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be willing to work in a hybrid arrangement and in a night shift schedule

Responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly bookkeeping services, including but not limited to reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements, and maintaining general ledgers;
  • Handle project-based write-ups, ensuring accurate categorization of expenses, income, and other financial data;
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payment and receipt recording;
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations;
  • Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary financial information and resolve discrepancies;
  • Generate and deliver periodic reports to clients and stakeholders; 
  • Assist in preparing records for audits and tax purposes, as needed; and
  • Supervise other bookkeepers.
