Qualifications:
- Graduate of Accounting or any relevant degree
- Must have 5 to 7 years of relevant experience working in US General Accounting and/or Bookkeeping
- Proficient skills in QuickBooks and Sage/Xero
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Previous experience in a Senior role is highly advantageous
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be willing to work in a hybrid arrangement and in a night shift schedule
Responsibilities:
- Perform monthly bookkeeping services, including but not limited to reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements, and maintaining general ledgers;
- Handle project-based write-ups, ensuring accurate categorization of expenses, income, and other financial data;
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payment and receipt recording;
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations;
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary financial information and resolve discrepancies;
- Generate and deliver periodic reports to clients and stakeholders;
- Assist in preparing records for audits and tax purposes, as needed; and
- Supervise other bookkeepers.
