Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any relevant course
  • Preferably a Certified Public Accountant and/or US CMA, but not required
  • Must have 2 years of General Accounting or Bookkeeping experience
  • Experience working with a US-based company or accounting firm is highly advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, including GAAP and financial reporting
  • Proven experience in handling accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions
  • Proficiency in bank and general ledger reconciliations, month-end close activities, and sales tax filings
  • Experience in preparing trial balances and posting adjusting journal entries
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero) and intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills
  • Amenable to work in a Hybrid set-up
  • Willing to work the night shift

Responsibilities:

  • Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Manage bank and general ledger reconciliation(s)
  • Preparing sales tax returns
  • Perform month-end closings
  • Preparing trial balance and adjusting journal entries
  • Ability to work independently both in the office and at client locations
  • Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality
  • Aptitude for learning and utilizing appropriate resources and technology
  • A passion for providing superior customer satisfaction
  • Effective interpersonal skills that would enable ongoing, daily client interaction and communication
  • Achieve consistent and outstanding client satisfaction
