About the job US Accountant (OAF) - IGTTBG
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any relevant course
- Preferably a Certified Public Accountant and/or US CMA, but not required
- Must have 2 years of General Accounting or Bookkeeping experience
- Experience working with a US-based company or accounting firm is highly advantageous
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, including GAAP and financial reporting
- Proven experience in handling accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions
- Proficiency in bank and general ledger reconciliations, month-end close activities, and sales tax filings
- Experience in preparing trial balances and posting adjusting journal entries
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero) and intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills
- Amenable to work in a Hybrid set-up
- Willing to work the night shift
Responsibilities:
- Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Manage bank and general ledger reconciliation(s)
- Preparing sales tax returns
- Perform month-end closings
- Preparing trial balance and adjusting journal entries
- Ability to work independently both in the office and at client locations
- Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality
- Aptitude for learning and utilizing appropriate resources and technology
- A passion for providing superior customer satisfaction
- Effective interpersonal skills that would enable ongoing, daily client interaction and communication
- Achieve consistent and outstanding client satisfaction
